Overlooking Freshwater Bay, The Albion is a landmark seafront hotel dating back to the early 1700s. Vivus Interiors was appointed to develop the interior design for its complete refurbishment, transforming the historic property into a refined coastal destination while retaining the character and sense of place that make the building distinctive.

Our ‘Victorian Chic’ concept combined elegant period influences with a soft palette drawn from the surrounding coastline. A consistent design language was developed across 41 guest bedrooms, en suites, the restaurant, bar, residents’ library and shared spaces, with individual details giving each area its own identity. Layered textures, bespoke joinery, carefully considered lighting and durable materials brought warmth and character to the hotel while meeting the practical demands of a busy hospitality environment.
