Set within an Italianate villa overlooking Ventnor Bay, The Terrace Rooms & Wine was transformed from a traditional bed and breakfast into a distinctive boutique hotel and destination for wine lovers. The brief was to create five individually designed bedrooms with en suites, alongside a residents’ lounge, bar, dedicated wine room and ground-floor WC.

We developed an interior that celebrated the history and architecture of the property while giving it a relaxed, contemporary identity. Victorian details were reinstated and combined with rich colour, natural textures, carefully sourced furnishings and characterful decorative elements. Each room was designed individually, while a consistent approach to materials and detailing connected the guest accommodation with the shared spaces throughout the hotel.
