Modern Coastal Rental

We were invited into this project partway through, after the initial refurbishment and decorating had been completed. Our role was to provide design ideas for a cohesive scheme, and specify the furniture, lighting, and furnishings to transform the property into a welcoming holiday rental property.

Working across the four bedrooms and the open-plan living area, we introduced softening elements, layers of texture, and a thoughtful use of colour to complement the fresh, modern backdrop. Mid-century style furniture and bold accent tones added character and vibrancy, balancing the clean architectural lines with warmth and personality.

The open-plan space was especially important to get right - in a holiday rental it needed to feel both inviting and practical. We created a large, welcoming social hub where a big family or group of friends can gather, cook, and relax together.

The result is a contemporary coastal retreat that feels stylish yet comfortable - a perfect setting for guests to enjoy their stay.
