Rowborough, Bowcombe
Stone barn conversion | Isle of Wight
Set within the Isle of Wight countryside, Rowborough is a traditional stone barn converted into a substantial seven-bedroom family home with five en suites, a family bathroom and a self-contained two-bedroom annexe. The brief was to preserve the character of the original agricultural building while creating a comfortable and practical home for everyday family life, guests and entertaining.
Working in collaboration with Dave Bunday & Sons and Dean Parkman Architect, we developed an interior scheme that complemented the original stonework and generous barn proportions. Our work included detailed space planning across the main house and annexe, lighting and electrical layouts, bathroom design, bespoke joinery and the specification of furniture, lighting, sanitaryware and finishes. Modern services and practical requirements were integrated without competing with the architecture, creating a connected interior that retained the building’s rural character.
